Sales Vacancy

 

The Role:

An IT-literate person of integrity with an affinity for people is required to maximise sales of existing products and make inroads into new markets.

A background in education is desirable, though not necessary.

The job in large part entails creating and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, and following up a huge number of leads and potential opportunities in a systematic manner.

Strong negotiating skills and an acute understanding of how ICT can be deployed to re-engineer current processes are essential. As well as having a keen eye for detail and being an effective communicator, you

  • will be aware of the role of ICT in education and improvement of processes in general
  • have good presentational skills
  • are proficient in the use of computers and the internet
  • are able to work on your own initiative
  • are a quick learner
Your enthusiasm and the way you relate to people is more important than a track record.
 

Targets:

You will be expected to meet soft and hard targets.
 

Package:

Remuneration is negotiable, but will consist of a basic of up to £30K, commission and bonuses together with expenses and PMI. Expected OTE for the first year is £45K minimum.

2nd Line Technical Support Engineer

A technically proficient person is now needed to join the team and operate from our Cardiff office.

Briefly, the job entails the following:
  • providing second line technical support on our products
  • installing, configuring and testing our products
  • attending client sites to deliver software and/or resolve issues
  • maintaining in-house systems
  • documenting procedures and processes around the job
As well as having very good understanding internet systems, operating systems and software in general, the person will especially :
  • be comfortable installing Microsoft Windows operating systems in particular and any software in general
  • be comfortable following instructions to complete a task
  • be comfortable creating their own instructions for completing tasks

Knowledge of Linux is not nessary but would be a distinct advantage.

The job is subject to successful completion of a probationary period.

 

£Wage: £17,000 - £20,000 per annum
